Our Managing Partner, Raphael Isinsin is a courageous, vibrant and astute Legal Practitioner with more than a decade experience in commercial and corporate practice, Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. His strength lies in his pragmatic, hands-on approach to resolution of legal issues.  Raphael, attended Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma Edo State where he obtained his LL.B law degree, the Nigerian law school for his Barrister at Law (BL) and has a Master’s degree in law from the University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos with focus on Secure Credit Transaction, Taxation, Labour and Employment Law and Corporate law and Practice. He has worked in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department of various prestigious law firms like Festus Keyamo Chambers, TRLPLAW, Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, AOS Practice (The Professional Place), Lexavier Partners where he was involved in various litigation and commercial arbitration/dispute resolution matters involving Companies like Emerging Markets Telecommunications Service Ltd (Etisalat), General Electric Company, Sahara Trade West Africa Ltd, Septa Energy Nigeria Ltd, Transocean Support Services Nigeria Ltd, Sahara Energy Nigeria Limited, Cotecna Destination Inspection Ltd, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, Exxon Mobile Geco Prakla Nig. Raphael Isinsin has also been involved in various commercial matters like Corporate restructuring, including mergers and acquisitions, oil and gas, telecommunications, environmental and maritime practice, insolvency, capital markets etc. He has in the course of his practice, represented multinational companies/clients at various Superior Courts of record in Nigeria and has as well handled various legal due diligence and corporate restructuring of various companies. He has been involved in commercial matters He led and supervised the litigation team that conducted due diligence on Mainstreet Bank Limited before the purchase and assumption of the bank by Skye Bank Plc. He was the Head of Litigation, debt recovery and insolvency practice in both AOS Practice (The Professional Place) and Lexavier Partners.

Dr. Ogunsakin Akintola Joseph was born on 11th June, 1975, at Ogbagi Akoko,Ondo State. He attended International University Bamenda–Republic of Cameroun for his PH. D from 2015 to 2018 after completing his masters in Law, LL.M Degree at the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos,  Nigeria.  He had his first degree in law L.L.B at Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Edo State and was called to the Nigerian Bar after attending the Nigerian Law School at Abuja.

 

Dr. Ogunsakin Akintola Joseph is the Principal Partner of the firm. He is a very resourceful and highly respected Legal Practitioner. He is upright in pursuit of his legal career and proactive in ensuring equity and fairness. He thrives on imagination and passion. His mission is to contribute to the growth and expansion of the organizational objective and achieve managerial goal and target.

 

He has gained considerable experience, working with FirmaMexus Chambers where he handled litigation matters from various states of the federation especially as it relates to litigation both at the States’ High Court, Federal High Court, National Industrial Court, arbitration and Tribunals Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. He has all the time being in legal practice, he has successfully combined his job as a law lecturer with legal practice as permitted by law. He has acquired experience in capital market investments as it relates to statutory regulatory bodies such as Nigerian Stock exchange and security and exchange commission. He has been in active corporate legal practice for several years and he has required experience in various legal subject on companies both private and public.

Clement Italume is a Legal scholar and an attorney with extensive international experience in the energy, banking and finance, telecommunication and technology sectors. He is a New York trained Legal Practitioner and was the best graduating student of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma Edo State in 2008 and have a master’s degree in law from the prestigious Delaware Law School United State of America (USA) with distinction. He has worked in the firms of Olaniwun Ajayi, SP Ajibade & Co. and Jackson, Etti & Edu. Clement was also a one-time Legal officer at the National Assembly. He has an avid interest in technology and technology policy, especially the impact of ICT particularly mobile technology on developing economies and GDP.

 

He is a member of many national and international legal associations. He is actively involved in proffering advice to clients on a range of issues in the financial services as well as in the provision of company secretarial services. He is adept at proffering advice to clients on legal and regulatory issues. He was a member of a project finance team that was involved in advising a client on infrastructure and concession matters. He has conducted extensive research on legal and regulatory issues that arise in public-private relationships.

 

His practice areas include Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, Arbitration, Oil and Gas, Energy Law, Telecommunication and legal research.

Blessing Eseigboria Isinsin is the Practice Administrator/Manager of the firm. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in English obtained from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma. She has considerate experience in administration and has since joining the firm managed the firm's administrative portfolio.

Henry Ugwuoke is an aasociate member of the firm. After obtaining an LL.B in 2018, he was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar in 2019. He thereafter pursued a career in real estate. He has received further certificates from university of Pennsylvania in intellectual property law, Regulatory compliance, immigration law; a global issue and leadership and emotional intelligence.
Since joining the firm, he has been involved in a wide range of matters including general corporate advisory, alternative dispute resolution and litigation, corporate insolvency and debt recovery, labour and employment, corporate governance and real estate matters.
